This post will be dedicated to my first love BOOKS! Sure I love beauty products and booze definitely has a soft spot in my heart, but those things came later in life. As far back as I can remember I have found comfort in books. Its a total cliche but I love the adventure to a new place. I love imagining what the character's look like, the tone of their voices etc. Maybe that's why I hate movies based on books so much! They never live up to the world created in my mind.
I'm not snobby about what I'll read. I enjoy classics, but I also enjoy fluff books. When reading something that is all entertainment very little substance, the sensation is very close to eating too much candy; exciting, giddy, and a little bad.

ReplyDeleteI looooove reading but have had to basically stop over the last few years. I end up staying awake until 3 am to finish books and then I'm completely worthless at work! I have zero self control.
